Dr Giulia Di Vincenzo to Present the IFO Study on Head and Neck Cancer at the AHNS 12th International Conference on Head and Neck Cancer of AHNS

Italian research will be featured at one of the world’s leading events dedicated to head and neck oncology. From July 18 to 22, 2026, Boston will host the 12th International Conference on Head and Neck Cancer, the premier international meeting for surgeons, oncologists, and researchers in the field.

Dr. Giulia Di Vincenzo, from the Regina Elena National Cancer Institute (IFO) in Rome, will be representing the research carried out using Mistral technology. The presentation will entail the findings of a clinical study conducted on patients diagnosed with head and neck cancer.

At the heart of the presentation is an approach that is both simple and highly promising: detecting disease through breath analysis. This rapid, painless, and non-invasive test analyzes the molecules present in exhaled breath to identify the unique “signature” left by cancer. Presenting these findings to the international scientific community provides an opportunity to compare results with leading experts from around the world and contribute to shaping the future of cancer diagnosis.

For Mistral, this represents a significant milestone and a source of great pride. Participating in such a prestigious event confirms the value of the research partnership established with IFO and opens the door to new scientific collaborations. This project, designed to enhance cancer screening accessibility and patient convenience, has garnered international recognition, extending beyond the borders of Italy.
